Echoing Kindness encourages and supports youth to take advantage of the variety of opportunities that are available to them.  Our services are geared towards: (a) supporting STEM awareness and related programs; (b) promoting youth employment opportunities; (c) strengthening or expanding tutorial programs and (d) encouraging kindness and self-esteem. 

 

Supporting STEM awareness and related programs is another major focus of our organization.  Scholarship opportunities for students continue to increase every day in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Encouraging more of our youth to pursue careers in these in fields is essential for this country to compete effectively in a Global Economy. Our program is designed to build partnerships with the business community and local schools that will motivate students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

 

Echoing Kindness recognizes the fact that college may not be for every student.  Programs are needed to prepare these students for alternative career paths. Echoing Kindness advocates for youth apprenticeships, summer jobs, and youth mentors.

Echoing Kindness promotes collaborating with other non-profit organizations and local government agencies to expand and develop structured youth activities, especially during summer months, to give youth supervised programs that keep youth off the streets and reduce the escalation of crime.
